New release: January 27th, 2003
This new release fixed many bugs and adds a lot of features, including a whole new skill system. A lot of work still needs to be done before it is a fully functional MUD (read the TODO file), but I wanted to release this version as a stepping stone. The next version (which probably won't be out for a year) will be, hopefully, fully complete with a very large virtual wilderness and many many more features. But instead of holding off a release for a year and having the latest release be filled with bugs I thought I'd release 1 more version.

Merentha does not use the Merentha MUDlib

The MUDlib is intended for those who wish to start their own MUDs. This code is pretty much useless for builders on the builder port

MIS - The Merentha InterMud System (MIS) connects all Merentha Lib muds together in a similar way that I2 or I3 does. To activate MIS simply copy /save/daemons/network.old to /save/daemons/network.o and then update the /daemon/network.c file. You should then be connected to the MIS. Some commands which can be used with MIS are:
<intermer [message]> : sends a message over MIS
<users @[MudName]> : lists everyone on another MUD (case sensitive)
